Bells Family Carnival

Bells Super Family Carnival has been visiting Batemans Bay for over 20 years – providing endless enjoyment to young and old alike.

This summer holidays the carnival beside the seaside at Corrigans Beach is a ritual for many enjoying the fireworks on New Years Eve and Australia Day. Treat yourself and the kids to dagwood dogs and fairy floss, lots of fun rides for all ages with the giant slide and of course the big one – the ferris wheel!

Open daily from 7pm to 10pm (weather permitting). Special family tickets available at the show.

Sculpture along with Craft in Woodwork, Jewellery, Pottery, Glass and other materials are also available.

Datsun Sports Roadster 29th Annual National Meeting

Over the Queen’s Birthday Long Weekend there will be 40 pristine examples of the historic Datsun Roadster (built in 1961-1970) converging on Batehaven from all over Australia.

A Show and Shine will be held on Corrigans Beach Reserve on Saturday morning the 6th June.
The traditional Sunday Convoy will travel from Batehaven to Bermagui, stopping at various local tourist sights.

George Bass Ski and Surfboat Marathon

This is the longest, toughest Surfboat Race in the world. The George Bass Surfboat Marathon commenced in 1975 and surf ski’s were added to the event in the1990s. It is a truly unique experience for all competitors, friendships are made for life once you become part of the Bass family.

Seven days. Seven legs. 190 kilometres of the best coastline in Australia.

Day 1: Batemans Bay to Moruya, 31 kilometres
Day 2: Moruya Beach to Coila Beach, Tuross Head, 19 kilometres.
Day 3: Coila Beach, Tuross Head to Narooma Surf Beach, 22 kilometres.
Day 4: Narooma Surf Beach to Horseshoe Bay, Bermagui, 24 kilometres.
Day 5: Horseshoe Bay, Bermagui to Tathra Beach, 36 kilometres.
Day 6: Tathra Beach to Pambula Beach, 27 kilometres.
Day 7: Pambula Beach to Aslings Beach, Eden, 22 kilometres to township.
